The Communications Division of Harris County Emergency Services District #1 has completed the cutover to the new facility at 2800 Aldine Bender Rd. The communications management staff and employees would like to thank all of our clients for their patience during the transitional period! The equipment has exceeded our expectations, and has provided for improved service and safety to our responders. Fire 6 has been re-located to a new tower with an antenna height of 750 ft. and a new licensed power output of 300 watts.

All East side agencies have completed the move to 800 Mhz. The move to the new system is allowing for greater interoperability, between neighboring Fire/EMS agencies, law enforcement and other county entities. This move is improving an already great service given to the community. The communications center is proud to be part of this project!
